At Neidig
Elementary School, parents are considered partners in their child's
education and as such are invited to share in many aspects of their
child's learning. This website allows parents the opportunity to
access important educational information. On this site there are
links to the
Elgin ISD website, the
Texas Education Agency site and
the
Region 13 Education Service Center site. These sites provide
parents with information regarding the TAKS test, the TEKS (Texas
Essential Knowledge & Skills) and other basic information regarding
policies and operating information. From time to time, this site
will be updated with links connecting the parent to grade level
information, PTO information, Library news and school events.

At Neidig Elementary School, our mission is to create a safe
learning environment designed to empower students and staff to take
ownership of one's actions and to strive towards academic
excellence.
